For me, there are a lot of Japanese dungeon crawlers that look really awesome, but I'm bad at finishing JRPGs and I'm intimidated by the difficulty curve. One example is Kowloon Youma Gakuenki Re-charge (九龍妖魔學園紀 re:charge):

The soundtrack, the aesthetic, the tone of the game—all these things are really intriguing to me, but it looks cumbersome and intimidating. I'll probably never play it, even though I've almost purchased it a couple times. I look it up every couple months and just think about how interesting it is, but the fear keeps me at bay. I think it's possible that I wouldn't enjoy it at all. I was looking at some more Japanese PS2 games to buy today, and this one is still on my Amazon wishlist... I just can't pull myself to delete it, but I never buy it, either.
Any games like this for you? It doesn't necessarily have to be intimidating, but something about it makes you keep staring at a distance, to never actually follow through and get or start it?
