Welcome to the official wiki for Kaiserreich: Legacy of the Weltkrieg, an alternative history for Hearts of Iron II, Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game, and Hearts of Iron IV by Paradox Interactive that asks the question: 'What if Germany had won the First World War?'

This wiki is meant as a repository for all canonical Kaiserreich lore and information. All pages are written 'in-universe' as if by someone from within that timeline. Trivia and references to our own history are generally not permissible here. The wiki is still very much under construction and help is always appreciated. If you wish to contribute, please ensure you are adding acceptable and relevant content.

If you're looking to transfer information over from our previous wiki, or merely create a new nation page, please use the tool below to follow our Nation Page format. Simply enter the name of the page you want to create, for example 'German Empire', and then hit 'create'.

Or, if you want to create a nation gameplay page, simply type the name of the country you want to add such as 'German Empire', and add '/game' to it, leaving 'German Empire/Game'. Then press enter.

If you need to add a Person of importance, simply use this tool in the same way. Note that if the person in question is not dead by the start of 1936, simply type 'Alive' in the 'status' section. Please be sure to add him or her to their appropriate continent category.

This mod adds a decision for Germany to install Victoria Louise (Willhelm II's daughter) as the ruler of the German Puppet of France. I plan to add a unique focus tree as well, but I'm not too experienced at it and any help is welcome.

In Vanilla, although the original Victoria II starts in 1836, and allows the player to guide their selected country through 100 years of the Victorian era, the House Divided expansion pack which APD is based on allows an alternative start to the game in 1861 at the onset of the Civil War.
